Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Implement and monitor the Project HSE Plan, ensuring alignment with ADNOC Codes of Practice and Technip Energies global HSE requirements.




  • Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.




  • Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Task Risk Assessments (TRA), and Permit to Work (PTW) reviews.




  • Ensure proper communication of HSE alerts, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns across all site personnel and subcontractors.




  • Support incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure implementation of preventive measures.




  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reporting, including inspections, audits, and training records.




  • Coordinate and conduct HSE training and awareness sessions for employees and subcontractors.




  • Monitor waste management, environmental compliance, and ensure adherence to ADNOC Environmental Management Guidelines.




  • Assist in emergency preparedness and drills, ensuring all personnel are familiar with emergency procedures.




  • Liaise with client HSE representatives (ADNOC LNG / Technip Energies) and attend coordination meetings.




Technical Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong knowledge of ADNOC HSE Standards, Codes of Practice, and Ruwais site regulations.




  • Familiarity with Technip Energies HSE Management System (T.EN HSE MS).




  • Sound understanding of construction safety for oil & gas, LNG, and heavy industrial projects.




  • Proficient in HSE audits, risk assessment, incident reporting, and root cause analysis.




  • Good command of Permit-to-Work systems, confined space entry, working at heights, lifting operations, and hot work procedures.




  • Competence in environmental protection measures, waste segregation, and spill prevention.




  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with multicultural teams.




Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Science.




  • Minimum 58 years of experience in HSE within oil & gas construction projects, preferably LNG or refinery projects in UAE.




  • Minimum 3 years experience working on ADNOC or Technip Energies projects (mandatory).




  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory).




  • Additional certifications such as IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA 30 Hours, First Aid, or Firefighting are an advantage.




  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems.




  • Strong reporting and computer skills (MS Office, Excel-based HSE tracking tools).
