We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Safety Inspector to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our operations, conducting thorough inspections, and implementing safety measures across our facilities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues
- Analyse safety data and incident reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programmes
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions
- Provide guidance and training to employees on safety practices and procedures
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety measures and recommend improvements
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as required

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety inspection or a related role
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including local and international guidelines
- Proficiency in safety inspection techniques and the use of safety monitoring equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience in report writing and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and remain organised in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and safety management software
- Understanding of industrial safety practices and risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Willingness to travel to various sites within the Dammam area as required
