About ReFarm

ReFarm Group of Companies is a UAE-based Zero Waste Food Security Initiative. We focus on sustainable food production and waste reduction, aiming to enhance food security in the UAE through innovative, circular agriculture technologies. We are currently developing cutting-edge warehouse construction, including a 900,000-sq-ft GigaFarm project in Dubai's Food Tech Valley. This project features vertical farming towers and a closed-loop ecosystem designed to maximize resource efficiency, prevent waste, and decarbonize the food industry.

Role Overview

As a Safety Officer at ReFarm, you will be the champion of workplace health and safety on our construction sites. You will ensure that our innovative warehouse construction projects are built safely, protecting our workforce and the environment while maintaining strict adherence to local regulations and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• HSE Implementation: Actively implement, manage, and continuously monitor the comprehensive project Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plan.
• Safety Education: Prepare and conduct regular toolbox talks to educate site labor and subcontractors on critical safety protocols and hazard awareness.
• Hazard Mitigation: Conduct thorough and routine site inspections alongside detailed risk assessments to proactively identify and neutralize potential safety hazards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict and unwavering compliance with UAE labor laws, local authority regulations, and all project-specific safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of dedicated professional experience as a Safety Officer within the construction industry.
• Skills: Deep understanding of modern HSE protocols, proficiency in conducting practical risk assessments, and comprehensive knowledge of UAE construction safety standards and labor laws. Strong communication skills to effectively manage and instruct large site teams
