Position: Sales Account Executive - Education and Academic Division (Middle East)QuestionPro, a global leader in online survey and experience management software, is seeking a highly professional and results-oriented Sales Account Executive to drive new business within the Middle East's Higher Education sector.
This pivotal role requires an experienced SaaS sales professional based in Cairo, Egypt, dedicated to securing institutional partnerships with universities across the GCC and Egypt.
Location: Cairo, Egypt (Primary Base) Target Territory: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Egypt.
Core Responsibilities and Quota Attainment:The successful candidate will be accountable for a minimum annual new business recurring revenue target of $350,000 USD. Key responsibilities include:
- New Business Acquisition: Managing the full sales cycle from strategic prospecting through contract negotiation and deal closure within designated universities.
- Territory Penetration: Developing and executing a targeted sales plan to effectively penetrate Tier 1 and Tier 2 academic institutions across the GCC.
- Solution Expertise: Delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations of QuestionPro's advanced academic and research platform to key stakeholders (including VPs of Research, Deans, and Procurement).
- Reporting & Forecasting: Maintaining rigorous pipeline hygiene and accurate sales forecasting within the CRM system.
Required Qualifications:- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of successful, quota-carrying B2B/B2G SaaS sales experience.
- Regional Expertise: Demonstrated experience selling enterprise software solutions into the GCC region and/or complex accounts within the Higher Education sector is mandatory.
- Language Proficiency:Complete fluency in both written and spoken Modern Standard Arabic and English is essential for client engagement across the territory.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the Middle East to meet with executive-level prospects and partners.
- Skills: Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and a proven ability to manage high-value, long-cycle sales processes.
