Job Summary

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding enterprise and government accounts within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This role focuses on driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic account plans, and managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, and renewal.

The position holder will work closely with clients to understand business needs and align tailored software or technology solutions accordingly. The role requires robust knowledge of the Saudi market, including local business culture and decision-making processes, particularly within enterprise and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned enterprise/government portfolio in KSA.
  • Prospecting for the new opportunities in enterprises in KSA.
  • Develop account plans and sales strategies aligned with the clients goals.
  • Negotiating terms of sale and concluding commercial contracts.
  • Drive deals from lead qualification to closing.
  • Track competitors and market trends within KSA.
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM systems (pipeline, forecasts, activities).
  • Various sales activities aimed at acquiring new customers.
  • Creating sales presentations and offers in line with the client's needs and company standards.
  • Cooperation with the marketing department in implementing the sales strategy.
  • Being the point of contact for the communications between the operational department and the client.
  • Market monitoring and competition analysis.
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding both individual and team business objectives.

Key Qualifications, Capabilities, Skills, & Technical Expertise

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in B2B sales.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., ZOHO) to manage pipelines and forecasts.
  • Very good knowledge of the IT industry, including the latest technologies.
  • Awareness of the Saudi market business culture and their decision-making processes is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients (government & large corporates) is also strongly preferred.
  • Consultative and solution-based selling experience understanding client business needs and mapping software solutions to them.
  • Ability to manage an end-to-end sales cycle, from lead qualification proposal negotiation close renewal.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to self-present.
  • Experience in conducting business meetings with strong presentation skills.
  • Resilient and adaptable professional with a goal-driven mindset and a consistently positive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong market research capabilities with the ability of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Having sturdy aptitude for growth and continuous learning.
