Job Summary
The Sales Assistant supports the centre's sales operations by assisting in student enrolments, handling customer enquiries, and providing administrative and operational support to ensure a smooth customer journey. This role works closely with the Enrolment Sales Manager and Centre Leadership to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Enrolment
- Assist in conducting sales consultations with walk-ins, leads, and trial lesson attendees.
- Support the full enrolment journey: scheduling trials, following up with leads, and closing enrolments.
- Maintain high conversion rates through effective communication and needs-based selling.
- Present and explain programme options, fees, and promotions clearly to parents and students.
- Help manage sales reports, daily leads tracking, and CRM updates.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Provide prompt and professional responses to customer enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
- Deliver excellent service during trials, enrolments, and post-enrolment support.
- Assist in centre operations by ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for students and parents.
- Address customer concerns and escalate complex issues to the Centre Manager/Enrolment Sales Manager.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist with class scheduling, teacher coordination, and attendance updates.
- Support centre events such as recitals, open houses, and marketing activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation of contracts, payments, and student records.
- Handle basic cashiering tasks (fees collection, issuing receipts, updating payment records).
Requirements
- Preferably 3-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or front-desk roles (retail, hospitality, or education industry is an advantage).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales-driven, confident, and comfortable speaking with parents and children.
- Proactive, organised, and able to multitask.
- Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office / CRM systems).
