Serai Collective is a Dubai-based concept boutique and cultural retail platform supporting independent designers across fashion, jewelry, and accessories. Serai brings together designers from the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and the global diaspora.

Our retail space blends curation, storytelling, and commerce, offering ready-to-wear, made-to-order, and one-of-one pieces that celebrate craftsmanship and contemporary design.

We are currently in our pre-launch phase and building a founding team to help bring the Serai experience to life.

Role Overview

We are hiring a full time Sales Associate who is passionate about fashion, craft, and people.

This role is not simply transactional retail. Sales associates at Serai act as storytellers, stylists, and cultural ambassadors, helping clients discover designers and pieces through meaningful conversations.

You will play a key role in delivering a warm, elevated retail experience while supporting daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Sales

Welcome and assist clients in a warm, thoughtful, and personalized manner

Build meaningful relationships with clients and collectors

Provide styling guidance and product knowledge across designers

Communicate the story, craft, and origin behind pieces

Achieve sales targets

Maintain high standards of client service and hospitality

Product & Designer Knowledge

Develop strong knowledge of Serai's designers, materials, and craftsmanship

Explain differences between Ready-to-Wear, Made-to-Order, and One-of-One pieces

Communicate production timelines and garment care

Assist clients with custom or made-to-order inquiries

Store Operations

Support daily boutique operations including opening and closing procedures, POS transactions, packaging, order preparation and inventory checks

Maintain visual merchandising standards

Assist with product tagging and stock organization

Community & Events

Support in-store events, trunk shows, and designer activations

Help create a welcoming and engaging environment for the Serai community

Encourage clients to connect with Serai online and through future events

Ideal Candidate

Passionate about fashion, craft, and design

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Naturally warm, attentive, and service oriented

Comfortable with storytelling and styling clients

Organized and detail-oriented

Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Requirements

Minimum 12 years experience in retail, fashion, or hospitality

Experience in luxury, multi-brand retail, or concept stores preferred

Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

Strong interest in independent designers and craftsmanship
