Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and engaging Lead Qualification Specialist to act as the crucial bridge between our marketing efforts and our closing sales team. In this role, your primary focus will be proactive telesales, lead nurturing, and rigorous qualification. You will not be responsible for closing deals; instead, your mission is to ensure that our Account Executives/Sales Team only spend their time speaking with highly qualified, sales-ready prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound & Inbound Telesales: Conduct a high volume of outbound cold calls and follow up on inbound marketing leads to generate initial interest.

  • Lead Nurturing: Build relationships with early-stage prospects through phone calls, emails, and follow-ups, educating them on our value proposition until they are ready to buy.

  • Rigorous Qualification: Vet prospects using established criteria (e.g., BANT: Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to ensure they are a perfect fit for our solution before passing them on.

  • Seamless Handoffs: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the senior sales team, providing them with detailed background notes and prospect pain points.

  • CRM Management: Accurately track all prospect interactions, maintain clean data, and manage your pipeline efficiently within our CRM system.

  • Feedback Loop: Provide valuable feedback to the marketing team regarding lead quality and market insights gathered from the front lines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience in telesales, customer service, or a lead generation role is highly preferred.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you must have a strong, confident, and empathetic phone presence.

  • Resilience: Ability to handle objections gracefully and maintain a positive attitude through rejection.

  • Tech-Savvy: Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to ask probing questions to uncover a prospect's true business pains and needs.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of Outbound Calls/Touches per day.

  • Number of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) generated per week/month.

  • Number of meetings booked and successfully held by the sales team.
