Job Description

The Sales Director is a leadership role responsible for driving sales strategy, achieving revenue growth, and managing the sales team to meet or exceed targets. The position involves developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, creating brand awareness, and ensuring long-term business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the achievement of sales targets across all organizational products.
  • Develop and implement the organization's sales and marketing strategies.
  • Create and execute awareness campaigns to enhance brand and product perception.
  • Lead the development of an aggressive, goal-driven sales team to achieve targets.
  • Establish and manage reporting structures and ensure timely submission of sales reports.
  • Collaborate with PR and communication teams to enhance the organization's key objectives and brand sustainability.
  • Secure long-term, revenue-generating business opportunities to support growth targets.
  • Strategically expand and enhance the organization's product portfolio in alignment with growth objectives.
  • Implement key marketing activities to foster a conducive sales environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with market stakeholders, press, and media.
  • Oversee and manage the effectiveness and content of organizational websites.
  • Develop and maintain sales collaterals, media kits, brochures, and internal communication materials.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful corporate presentations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales within the exhibitions industry (retail/marketing focus).
  • Proven track record in an exhibitions company is mandatory.
  • Effective communication skills in English; experience in the Middle East market is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across various mediums (phone, email, face-to-face).
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, and capable of taking ownership to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work towards and exceed KPIs, using them as a motivational tool.
  • Collaborative team player with an adaptable approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing teams and fostering a results-driven environment.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
