Position Overview
This senior leadership role is responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing advertising partnerships, sponsorships, brand integrations, on-ground activations, digital placements, and all commercial rights associated with both venues.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and monetization strategy for advertising rights across both locations.
- Identify and commercialize advertising assets, including outdoor displays, digital screens, activations, naming rights, and brand partnerships.
- Maximize revenue streams while ensuring operational feasibility and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Set annual sales targets, forecasting models, and strategic revenue plans.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities with brands, agencies, and corporate partners.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and close high-value, long-term commercial agreements.
- Manage key accounts to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams on contract structuring and compliance.
Advertising Rights & Asset Management
- Oversee the lifecycle of advertising assets, from concept development to execution and renewal.
- Maintain and optimize advertising inventory across both venues.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure all installations meet safety and quality requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to monitor asset performance and partnership deliverables.
Stakeholder & External Relations
- Liaise with relevant authorities and site management to secure approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders involved in each venue's operations.
- Represent the organization in meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and account management teams.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, performance goals, and team development plans.
- Create a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on results and innovation.
Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with marketing to develop partnership packages, promotional materials, and integrated campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative, operations, and finance teams to deliver successful activations.
- Ensure all commercial activities enhance the venues positioning and visitor experience.
Compliance, Reporting & Quality Control
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for senior leadership.
- Ensure all activities adhere to legal, financial, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, commercial inventory, and financial details.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong background in advertising sales, sponsorships, media rights, or brand partnerships.
- Experience with large venues, commercial rights, or public attractions is an advantage.
