About the Role

Job Title: Sales Director

Job Location: Dubai/Middleeast

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual/quarterly sales targets and plans; analyze markets and competitors; report sales performance and strategic progress.
  • Recruit and manage the sales team; conduct systematic training; set KPIs and oversee daily supervision, evaluation, and performance improvement.
  • Manage the full sales cycle-lead generation, negotiations, contract signing, and payment follow-up; participate in key deals; expand new markets; maintain relationships with major clients and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of sales and business development experience in the energy sector, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director / Deputy Director level) within oil & gas operations & maintenance (O&M), energy services, or EPC/EPCM-related businesses.
  • Proven track record in developing and securing O&M contracts for oil & gas fields, production facilities, pipelines, utilities, or energy infrastructure projects.
  • Strong and well-established relationships with: Iraqi government authorities and regulatory bodies (e.g., Ministry of Oil and related entities), Local Iraqi oil & gas companies and service providers, International oil companies (IOCs) and international contractors with operations or branches in Iraq.
  • Deep understanding of the Iraqi oil & gas market, including local business practices, contracting models, tendering processes, and compliance requirements related to O&M services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and build high-performing sales and BD teams, define market strategies, and drive sustainable revenue growth in project-based and long-cycle O&M environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in bid strategy, contract negotiation, pricing, risk assessment, and client relationship management for long-term service contracts.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills for engagement with government stakeholders, local partners, and international clients.
  • Results-oriented, highly resilient, and capable of operating effectively in complex, high-pressure, and multicultural environments, including frequent travel within Iraq and the region.
