We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Sales Engineer with 35 years of experience in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in selling DX (Direct Expansion) and VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems. A professional with a background in Application Engineering who possesses basic design capabilities to assist clients, consultants, and contractors in selecting the right technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities for DX and VRF product lines within the target market (contractors, consultants, and developers).
- Technical Sales: Act as a technical advisor to clients. Bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial solutions.
- Application & Selection: Review project specifications, perform heat load estimations, and select appropriate equipment (DX/VRF) based on technical parameters.
- Basic Design: Prepare preliminary designs, schematics, and equipment layouts to support the sales proposal process.
- Proposal Management: Prepare and submit detailed technical and commercial offers (quotations) in line with client requirements.
- Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with MEP consultants and contractors to get our brands specified in early project stages.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new HVAC technologies.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in HVAC sales, specifically with DX Units (Splits, Package, Ducted) and VRF systems.
- Technical Background: A strong background in Application Engineering is highly preferred.
- Design Skills: Basic knowledge of HVAC design principles, including heat load calculation software (e.g., HAP) and equipment selection software.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
