As part of our continued growth in advanced manufacturing, we're hiring a Technical Sales Engineer Additive Manufacturing & 3D Scanning. If you have real depth in metal/polymer AM processes (LPBF, EB-PBF, SLS, SLA, FFF/FGF) and hands-on experience with 3D scanning/metrology for inspection and reverse engineering and you love turning technical capability into customer value, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain deep process knowledge across additive manufacturing and related workflows (materials, post-processing, quality assurance).
- Map target accounts and verticals; create territory and account plans to reach, engage, and develop multi-stakeholder buying groups (engineering, production, procurement, leadership).
- Act as a trusted advisor: run discovery on parts, materials, volumes, quality requirements, and factory readiness; translate needs into end-to-end solutions (equipment, software, auxiliaries, post-processing, services).
- Collaborate with applications and sales teams to architect solutions and build compliant technical/commercial proposals with clear ROI/TCO and payback.
- Deliver compelling capability presentations and live/virtual demos; define and manage pilots/trials with success criteria that lead to closure.
- Handle technical queries promptly and coordinate with service/support for pre- and post-sale assistance and smooth handover.
- Consistently meet or exceed qualified pipeline, win-rate, and revenue targets; contribute to forecasting accuracy and overall company growth.
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene with weekly activity reports, forecast accuracy, and pipeline health updates.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 35 years of technical sales experience in the UAE within additive or advanced manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of AM processes, materials, design-for-additive, post-processing, and quality/inspection workflows.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications (GD&T basics preferred).
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to CAD is a plus.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel across the UAE/GCC.
- English fluency required; Arabic is an advantage.
