Job Summary

The Commercial Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of commercial projects within the lightcurrent sector. This role includes designing technical solutions, preparing commercial proposals, and supporting clients and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. Success in this position requires solid technical expertise and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with consultants and main contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain consultant approvals for proposed solutions and product portfolios.
  • Present tailored solutions to main contractors aligned with project requirements.
  • Prepare BOQs and technical offers for commercial projects.
  • Deliver impactful presentations to clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Manage the full commercial project cycle from inquiry to delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure precise technical and commercial submissions.
  • Build and maintain longterm client relationships to support ongoing business growth.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities within the lightcurrent industry.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 35 years of experience in electrical lightcurrent systems.
  • Previous exposure to commercial project management preferred.
  • Highly organized and efficient work approach.
  • Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation capabilities.
  • Expertise in lightcurrent systems (security, safety, automation).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work outdoors and conduct site visits.
  • Strong problemsolving skills in technical and commercial contexts.
  • Must own a car for field mobility.
  • KNX Certification required.
