Job Summary

The Commercial Sales Engineer will play a key role in driving commercial project sales within the lightcurrent industry. The role involves providing technical solutions, preparing commercial proposals, and supporting clients and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to build effective relationships with consultants and main contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure consultant approvals for proposed solutions and product ranges.
  • Introduce tailored solutions to main contractors based on project requirements.
  • Prepare BOQs and technical offers for commercial projects.
  • Develop and deliver presentations for clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Handle commercial project cycles from initial inquiry to final delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate technical and commercial submissions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing and future business.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the lightcurrent sector.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 35 years of experience in electrical lightcurrent systems.
  • Prior exposure to commercial project handling is preferred.
  • Efficient and organized work style.
  • Professional communication skills with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Lightcurrent systems expertise (security, safety, automation).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • AutoCAD proficiency.
  • Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent English communication (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work outdoors and conduct site visits.
  • Strong problemsolving capability in technical and commercial contexts.
  • Must own a car for field mobility.
  • KNX Certification is required.
