Duties & Responsibilities:
- To sell CRAC/RAC/UPS and all Data Center components and create sales opportunities within an assigned area/sector of business to meet customer satisfaction.
- Plans his weekly work program in conjunction with his manager to cover the customer list assigned to him and related pending deals.
- Prospects for new customers who might be interested in the company's products.
- Visits customers to present VERTIV products and answers all technical and commercial inquiries.
- Participates in quotations preparation, tender documents study and proposes terms of payment for his manager's review and approval.
- Attends tenders and answers all related questions.
- Liaises with consulting engineers as requested.
- Investigate particular customers when required.
- Presents technical publications and drawings, as appropriate, to customers and explains VERTIV products advantages.
- Participates in UPS / CRAC units / Data Centre delivery to customers as required.
- Keeps track of competitors products, prices and commercial terms and reports, in writing, to his manager.
- Interfaces with his after-sales supervisor to exchange information and coordinate the approach to customers.
- Reports his daily activities and refers any difficulties/problems to his manager for action.
Job Requirements:
- UPS / CRAC units / Data Centreand electrical equipment experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably with UPS / CRAC units / Data Centre.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the engineering or industrial equipment sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Owning a car is preferable.
