Role Overview
Element is hiring a results-oriented Sales Executive to accelerate revenue growth for a market-leading salon and spa management platform. This is a consultative, demo-focused sales role requiring strong communication, product expertise, and a hunter mentality. The ideal candidate will generate and qualify leads, deliver persuasive demos (online and in-person), and close deals with beauty and wellness businesses ranging from single-location salons to multi-site spas and chains.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new business through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and targeted field/foot visits to local salons and spas.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline using CRM.
- Own territory or vertical targets and create account plans for high-value prospects.
Demo & Presentation
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to each prospect's workflows and pain points (virtual and on-site).
- Showcase how platform features (booking, POS, staff management, inventory, marketing automation, reporting, mobile app) solve clients operational and revenue challenges.
- Prepare customized proposals, ROI estimates, and pilot plans when needed.
Sales Execution & Closing
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and close.
- Overcome objections, manage stakeholder conversations (owners, managers, head stylists), and expedite procurement processes.
- Collaborate with onboarding/customer success teams to ensure smooth handoffs and high client satisfaction post-sale.
Relationship Management & Growth
- Build long-term relationships with customers to enable upsell, cross-sell, and referrals.
- Gather customer feedback and relay product/market insights to product and marketing teams.
- Represent the brand at industry events, tradeshows, and local networking activities when required.
Mandatory Requirements
- 2–4 years of direct sales experience (SaaS, B2B, or field sales preferred).
- Demonstrated success delivering product demos and closing deals.
- Comfortable with outbound lead generation: cold calling, LinkedIn prospecting, and field visits.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently with a sense of urgency.
