They offer end-to-end solutions for the automotive industry, covering design, development, manufacturing, and after-sales service for both OEMs and the aftermarket.
About the Role
The client is seeking a Sales Representative to drive international growth in the automotive spare parts aftermarket. This role is focused on:
- Expanding distributor and retailer networks.
- Generating demand at the ground level.
- Building strong client relationships.
The position has regional responsibilities, requiring both independent initiative and collaboration with global teams.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Representative will be responsible for:
- Demand Generation: Creating market demand through visits to existing and new retailers.
- Local Marketing: Building demand at the mechanic level by conducting local marketing activities (e.g., mechanic meets, canopy events)
- Lead Generation: Generating sales leads from existing and new customers/distributors in international regions and managing/reviewing these activities using trade portals, export data, and distributor data to increase market share.
- Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers.
- Product Information: Sharing relevant product information (catalogues, technical specifications, etc.) with customers and distributors to generate business opportunities.
- Pricing: Preparing export pricing based on market intelligence to ensure competitiveness.
- Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding sales targets set by management.
- Exports: Handling exports across all the multi-product categories.
Profile Requirements
- Experience:3-5 years of proven experience in B2C and B2B sales.
- Sector: Preferably in automotive parts or related mechanical sectors.
- Background (Preferred): Working with distributors in industries such as automotive, motorbikes, or spare parts.
- Language: Fluency in English.
