Role Description The Sales Insurance Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for promoting and selling MetLife Egypt's insurance products, including life, accident, health, retirement, and savings solutions, to individual and corporate clients. Day-to-day activities include identifying prospective customers, conducting needs-based consultations, preparing tailored insurance proposals, and explaining policy features and benefits in a clear, compliant manner. The specialist will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and follow-up to policy issuance, while maintaining accurate records in the company's systems. Ongoing tasks also include delivering high-quality customer service, handling policy inquiries, coordinating with internal teams and brokers, and meeting assigned sales and performance targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of insurance products and services, including life and health insurance, and experience in insurance brokerage or distribution.
- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in finance, including basic financial planning principles and the ability to interpret financial information related to insurance and investment solutions.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly, build rapport, and negotiate effectively with diverse customers and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills, including responsiveness, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on delivering a positive customer experience throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in insurance sales or financial services.
- Ability to work with sales targets, use CRM and office software, and collaborate within a multicultural team environment.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, and familiarity with the Egyptian insurance market are advantageous.
