Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored for the aviation industry in the Africa region to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential clients within the aviation sector, including airlines, MROs, aircraft operators, and government agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about regional aviation trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring favourable terms for the company while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with technical, marketing, and product teams to customize solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular sales reports for senior management.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with regional regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
  • Provide feedback from the market to help shape product development and marketing strategies.

Requirements:

  • >5 years relevant experience in the aircraft and aerospace industry, commercial spares, logistics, engineering or MNC preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aerospace, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong business/commercial acumen with excellent negotiating skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral presentation and written communication skill
  • Proven consultative selling skills to develop attractive value propositions
  • Willing to travel and work in a global team of professionals
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word & PowerBI. ERP experience desirable.
