Sales Manager (Transportation & Logistics)
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the overall sales strategy for logistics and transportation services, including fleet, warehousing, and distribution.
- Lead, manage, and coach the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and key accounts in the logistics, transportation, and supply chain market.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with major clients and strategic partners.
- Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation and proposal preparation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Coordinate closely with operations, fleet, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that customer issues, escalations, and complaints are handled promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and approved sales plans.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain services.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi logistics and transportation market.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to manage sales forecasts and KPIs.
- Ability to develop sales strategies and execute them effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
