Job Description

The Sales Manager Bakery is responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and profitability of the bakery category within the foodservice channel across KSA. The role focuses on managing key accounts, leading the sales team, developing strategic partnerships with customers, and ensuring strong execution of commercial plans aligned with company objectives.

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute the bakery sales strategy for the foodservice channel in line with overall business objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth, volume targets, and gross margin for the bakery portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities, customers, and segments (hotels, restaurants, cafs, bakeries, QSRs, catering).
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotions, and contracts with key customers.

Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key foodservice accounts, chefs, purchasing teams, and decision-makers.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective service levels, product availability, and support.
  • Work closely with customers to develop customized bakery solutions and menu concepts.

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, coach, and develop the bakery sales team to achieve targets and enhance capability.
  • Set clear KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and support team development plans.
  • Ensure effective territory planning, coverage, and execution.

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and action plans for the bakery division.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and KPIs, and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and CRM discipline.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment, stock availability, and credit management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, KSA regulations, and food safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 710 years of sales experience in foodservice, FMCG, or bakery-related businesses.
  • Proven experience managing sales teams and key foodservice accounts in KSA.
  • Strong understanding of the bakery category
  • Experience working with distributors, manufacturers, or foodservice suppliers is preferred.
