Job Description

Sales Manager Expansion Joints (UAE with frequent travel to KSA)

Package

Base salary up to 25,000 AED per month + performance-based commission.

This role focuses on leading sales for expansion joint products across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The aim is to drive revenue, win major projects, and strengthen the company's position with EPCs, consultants and key end users in core industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a focused sales strategy for the UAE and KSA.
  • Target and win major accounts in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, District Cooling, Power, Steel and Infrastructure.
  • Manage the full sales process: prospecting, technical proposals, solution design, pricing, negotiation and closing.
  • Secure specification inclusion for metallic, rubber and fabric expansion joints with consultants and EPCs.
  • Provide technical support including movement and load calculations, EJ selection and engineering guidance.
  • Lead technical discussions and presentations with EPCs, consultants and engineering teams.
  • Coordinate closely with manufacturing to ensure accurate design, costing and product delivery.
  • Expand market presence in Saudi Arabia through strong relationships with major operators and decision-makers.
  • Track competitor activity, market trends, pricing benchmarks and new technologies.
  • Maintain strong long-term relationships through regular customer visits, site surveys and post-delivery support.
  • Ensure accurate CRM updates, forecasting and pipeline reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, tendering and production teams on compliant and cost-effective solutions.
  • Contribute to marketing collateral and technical documentation when required.

Experience & Key Qualities

  • 57 years of dedicated experience in expansion joints (metallic, rubber and/or fabric).
  • Mechanical engineering background preferred.
  • Strong track record of closing major projects in the UAE and KSA.
  • Deep knowledge of EJ selection, movement capabilities, load calculations and installation requirements.
  • Established relationships with EPCs, consultants and major industrial end users.
  • Technically strong with solid problem-solving capability.
  • Confident closer with strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic, disciplined, proactive and comfortable working independently.
  • Experience with recognised EJ brands, engineered-to-order products and regional approval/ICV processes is a plus.

  • Base salary up to 25,000 AED per month + performance-based commission.
