We are now seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to drive the commercial success of Intersec, one of the world's leading events within the Security, Technology & Production portfolio. This is a highly commercial, client-facing role suited to someone who thrives on winning new business, building long-term partnerships, and delivering sustained revenue growth across a global exhibition platform.

What You'll Be Doing:

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Drive stand sales, sponsorship, and additional revenue streams for Intersec
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with event objectives and market positioning
  • Identify new revenue opportunities through market analysis, sector expansion, and product development
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting to ensure targets are achieved

Client Acquisition & Account Management

  • Build and manage strong relationships with existing exhibitors to maximise retention, rebooking, and upsell opportunities
  • Proactively source and convert new business through telesales, virtual meetings, and face-to-face engagement
  • Manage key accounts, ensuring high levels of service throughout the full event lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain robust prospect pipelines and client databases

Floorplan & Portfolio Optimisation

  • Support the strategic development and optimisation of the exhibition floorplan to maximise revenue
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders on pricing, positioning, and space allocation
  • Identify growth areas and new sectors to enhance the overall show offering

Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement

  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with industry associations, government bodies, media, and key stakeholders
  • Attend international and regional events to generate leads and strengthen market presence

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing to support campaigns, positioning, and lead generation strategies
  • Partner with Operations to ensure seamless exhibitor delivery from pre-show through to onsite execution
  • Collaborate with Sales Partners globally to maximise international participation and revenue

Onsite Delivery & Exhibitor Experience

  • Support onsite exhibition delivery, ensuring a high-quality experience for exhibitors and stakeholders
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout build-up, show days, and breakdown
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement

What You'll Bring

  • 35 years experience in B2B sales, ideally within exhibitions, events or a related industry
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Excellent relationship management and consultative selling skills
  • Confidence working across international markets and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (SAP is advantageous)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • English fluency is essential; Arabic is an advantage
