The Role
A leading international manufacturer of solutions is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to spearhead relationships and grow the sales in the Middle East & North and South Africa.
As Sales Manager for the Middle East, you will own and develop key strategic relationships with the Primes, Military and Government Officials. You'll be expected to drive order intake, margin growth, and influence customer strategy, helping shape how innovation is delivered into the end user.
This is very much a hands-on role, where you will be involved with the day-to-day transactional sales, account management and development, writing proposals, whilst building the regions strategy and balancing high level relationships.
Experience
- Drove order intake and margin growth across the Middle East & Africa through a combination of strategic account development and hands-on sales execution.
- Led regional sales strategy for a global defence manufacturer, managing key accounts across military, government, and OEM prime contractors.
- Built and maintained senior-level relationships with defence stakeholders, influencing procurement decisions and long-term programme positioning.
- Managed full sales lifecycle including bid strategy, proposal development, contract negotiation, and programme follow-through.
- Identified and secured entry points into major defence programmes by navigating complex OEM and government procurement structures.
- Delivered technical product presentations and innovation briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Balanced day-to-day transactional sales with long-term regional growth planning and market expansion strategy.
- Collaborated cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to align customer needs with solution development.
