At Qashio, we're transforming how businesses manage company spending. As Sales Manager, you'll lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for driving new business revenue across the region.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. You'll be passionate about coaching sales professionals, improving sales execution, and building scalable processes that support rapid growth. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in shaping the commercial function, driving revenue, and building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Managers to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, pipeline coaching, and deal strategy sessions to maximise individual and team performance.
- Set clear sales objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations while maintaining accountability across the team.
- Identify coaching opportunities and implement structured development plans to continuously improve sales capability.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of new sales team members.
- Foster a high-performance culture built on ownership, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Sales Execution & Performance
- Own the team's sales performance, ensuring consistent pipeline progression, healthy conversion rates, and accurate forecasting.
- Run structured pipeline reviews focused on qualification, deal strategy, stakeholder engagement, commercial positioning, and close probability.
- Monitor key commercial metrics including pipeline coverage, win rates, average deal size, sales cycle, and forecast accuracy.
- Ensure CRM discipline and reporting accuracy across the team to provide clear commercial visibility.
- Implement and reinforce structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, or similar frameworks to improve sales effectiveness.
- Continuously refine sales processes and best practices to improve efficiency and increase conversion throughout the sales cycle.
Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with senior leadership to execute Qashio's commercial strategy and deliver ambitious growth objectives.
- Work closely with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality, customer messaging, and campaign performance.
- Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development and onboarding improvements.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer buying behaviour to strengthen Qashio's commercial positioning.
- Provide regular sales insights, forecasting updates, and performance recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record in SaaS. FinTech experience is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing Business Development or Account Executive teams.
- Demonstrated success managing full sales cycles and consistently delivering against revenue targets through team performance.
- Strong coaching and leadership skills with a passion for developing sales professionals.
- Experience improving sales processes, forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and CRM adoption.
- Advanced experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of modern B2B sales methodologies including MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, or similar.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales data and make informed business decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment, with the ability to adapt quickly, prioritise effectively, and lead through change.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
