Role Overview

The Sales Manager is a senior, results-driven people leader responsible for owning and driving overall sales performance across all customer segments. This is not an individual contributor role. You will be accountable for managing sales funnels and pipelines, leading and coaching the sales team, and ensuring consistent execution against revenue targets.

You will set direction, enforce sales discipline, and enable the team to perform at a high level through clear processes, data-driven decision-making, and strong leadership. With solid experience in SaaS and fintech sales environments, you will play a key role in scaling revenue in the UAE market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and coach the sales team across SMB, mid-market, and larger accounts to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Own the end-to-end sales funnel and pipeline, ensuring healthy coverage, strong conversion rates, and accurate forecasting.
  • Define, implement, and continuously optimise sales processes, playbooks, and KPIs to drive predictable performance.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations, conducting regular reviews, pipeline inspections, and coaching sessions.
  • Drive accountability and execution through data-led performance management and CRM discipline.
  • Support the team on complex deals when needed, providing guidance on qualification, pricing, and negotiations without directly owning deals.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to improve lead quality, funnel efficiency, and go-to-market execution.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure effective handovers, smooth onboarding, and long-term customer retention and expansion.
  • Provide structured feedback and insights to Product and Leadership teams based on market trends and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance sales culture focused on continuous improvement, learning, and results.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, with strong SaaS experience; fintech exposure is a plus.
  • 4+ years of proven experience managing and scaling a sales team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing funnels, pipelines, forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capability, with experience driving team accountability and results.
  • Highly analytical and process-oriented, with a strong command of CRM tools and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Track record of building consistent sales performance through teams, not individual contribution.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS business models, fintech platforms, and accounting or expense management systems.
