A leading company in the logistics and supply chain sector is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and manage sales performance across Qatar and the GCC. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, proven sales leadership, and experience in identifying new opportunities, closing deals, and developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and business growth strategies aligned with company objectives
- Identify new market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Lead efforts to secure new business opportunities and close major deals
- Support contract development and commercial negotiations in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Promote company services and solutions based on client requirements and market demand
- Manage and coach the sales team to achieve performance targets
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, performance discussions, and team meetings
- Support recruitment and development of sales and business development talent
- Monitor sales records, revenue performance, and commercial documentation
- Ensure smooth transition of new business into operations
- Provide reliable after-sales support and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and protect business information at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 10+ years of overall industry experience
- Strong background in sales, business development, and commercial management
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain is preferred
- Good knowledge of Qatar and GCC markets
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong command of English.
