Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment

Job Title: Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment (Construction)

Department: Sales

Location: Riyadh

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose

Responsible for driving sales of heavy construction equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, forklifts) by identifying customer needs, presenting suitable equipment solutions, and building long-term relationships with contractors, construction companies, and industrial clients to achieve revenue and market share targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including contractors, project managers, and procurement teams.
  • Conduct product presentations and equipment demonstrations, highlighting technical specifications, performance, and value proposition.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales quotations, proposals, and contracts in line with company pricing and policies.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the technical/service team to ensure smooth equipment delivery, after-sales support, and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate pricing, financing options, and contract terms with clients within approved guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM systems.
  • Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company's product line.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Stay updated on new equipment models, industry regulations, and financing/leasing options relevant to the construction sector.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in heavy equipment, construction machinery, automotive, or industrial equipment sales.
  • Strong understanding of heavy equipment specifications and construction industry operations is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to client sites and project locations.

  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure to meet targets
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)

Working Conditions

  • Frequent travel to construction sites, project locations, and client offices.
