Job Purpose:
The Sales Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the B2C sales team, ensuring high-performance sales execution and lead conversion. This role acts as the bridge between sales representatives and management, ensuring that sales targets are met, customer acquisition is optimized, and CRM data is accurately maintained. The Sales Team Lead also provides coaching, training, and performance monitoring to enhance team efficiency and sales outcomes.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Sales Execution & Target Achievement
- Drive the B2C sales process, ensuring team members meet or exceed sales targets.
- Assist in identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities.
- Implement strategies to maximize lead conversion rates and customer engagement.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct daily/weekly sales meetings, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Deliver training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, and CRM best practices.
3. Lead Management & CRM Optimization
- Oversee lead assignment and follow-up processes, ensuring no leads are lost.
- Ensure the team accurately updates CRM records, tracking sales interactions and pipeline status.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Customer Success teams to enhance lead nurturing efforts.
4. Customer Engagement & Retention
- Ensure the sales team delivers a high-quality customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Support in resolving customer inquiries, objections, and escalations when needed.
- Work closely with the Customer Success Team to improve retention and referral strategies.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track individual and team performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, lead conversion rates, and revenue impact.
- Use sales data and market trends to refine strategies and enhance sales effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Education and Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in B2C sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to scale sales teams and drive revenue growth.
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of B2C sales models, customer psychology, and engagement tactics.
- Experience in the education, training, or service-based industries is a plus.
Competencies:

- Ability to analyze sales data and implement improvement strategies.
