Key Responsibilities
Establish and develop Milaha's Ship Chandelling business in the UAE
Generate new business from Shipping Lines, Marine Companies, Shipyards, Oil & Gas operators, and Ship Chandlers
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue targets
Build and maintain strong B2B relationships with key maritime clients
Ensure fast response to inquiries and deliver high customer satisfaction
Develop new business opportunities to expand market reach
Source suppliers, secure competitive pricing, and maximize operational profitability
Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure uninterrupted availability of essential products
Prepare sales reports and performance dashboards
Design and update Ship Chandlery product catalogues with our Communications team
Implement and maintain an E-Commerce systemfor catalog and order updates
Obtain industry certifications such as IMPA, ISSA, ShipServ, Procureship
Support pricing strategy, proposals, and best practices in coordination with internal teams
Ensure timely invoicing and credit control in line with Milaha policies
Support tender submissions and monitor competitive pricing
Collect customer feedback and collaborate with principals and suppliers
Handle trading and supply of diverse ship chandelling products to meet client needs
Participate in industry events and exhibitions to promote Milaha's services
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Master's in Business Management preferred)
UAE Driving License
68 years of experience, including minimum 5 years in Ship Chandelling operations & sales
Strong geographic experience in UAE / GCC
Proficiency in MS Office, Oracle, ERP systems (Ship Chandelling preferred)
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
Strong industry knowledge, time management, and customer-focused mindset
