We're looking for HVAC Sales Team Leader to lead a team of HVAC Sales Engineers in executing the sales strategy, managing day-to-day pipeline activities, and increasing Hitachi's presence across key consultants, contractors, and projects.
The Team Leader is responsible for driving field execution, maintaining pipeline discipline, and ensuring consistent customer engagement to support revenue growth and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
• Manage and track the team's sales pipeline across RAC, PAC, VRF, chillers, and airside
products.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline coverage (minimum 3x target).
• Follow up on all active opportunities to improve conversion rates.
• Support closing of key deals and negotiations when needed.
2. Team Supervision & Performance
• Lead and supervise a team of Sales Engineers.
• Set weekly targets and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Implement structured weekly sales visit plans and ensure adherence.
• Conduct regular field visits with team members (joint visits).
3. Consultant & Contractor Engagement
• Support team in building relationships with:
• HVAC consultants
• MEP contractors
• Developers
• Ensure Hitachi products are specified in project designs.
• Participate in technical meetings and client presentations.
4. Coordination with Technical Office
• Ensure timely submission of:
• Technical submittals
• Compliance sheets
• Value engineering proposals
• Coordinate between sales and estimation/technical teams to strengthen proposals.
5. Market Intelligence
• Track competitor activities (pricing, specs, positioning).
• Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
• Identify new project opportunities and sectors.
6. Reporting & CRM Discipline
• Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting.
• Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Provide visibility on:
• Pipeline status
• Lost opportunities (with reasons)
• Conversion ratios
KPIs
• Team sales target achievement
• Pipeline accuracy and coverage
• Conversion rate (%)
• Number of consultant visits / specifications
• Customer engagement frequency
• Reporting accuracy and discipline
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering .
• 5–8 years of experience in HVAC sales.
• Minimum 1–2 years in a senior sales or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of:
• VRF systems
• Chillers
• Airside equipment (AHU/FCU)
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience with reputable HVAC brands such as Daikin, Carrier Global, or LG Electronics
(HVAC division).
• Strong relationships with consultants and contractors.
• Hands-on, field-oriented personality.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills (very important).
• Ability to push, track, and close — not just sell.
