Role Description The Sales Team Leader role at MetLife Egypt is a full-time hybrid position based in Cairo, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Sales Team Leader will oversee a team of sales professionals, set performance goals, and monitor progress to ensure achievement of sales targets and customer acquisition objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and mentoring team members, conducting regular sales meetings, tracking key performance indicators, and providing feedback to improve individual and team performance. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, supporting lead generation activities, building strong relationships with customers and partners, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery. The Sales Team Leader will also prepare sales reports, analyze market trends, and ensure adherence to company policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales leadership skills, including team management, performance coaching, and target setting.
  • Experience in financial services or insurance sales, preferably life, accident, health, retirement, or wealth management solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven capability in strategic planning, sales forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both in-office and remote team activities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, resilience under pressure, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; fluency in English and Arabic is highly beneficial.
