Responsibilities:

As a Salt Geologist Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

In-depth Geological Studies: Conduct comprehensive geological studies to assess salt deposits, including geological mapping, sample analysis, and geological modeling.

Supervision of Mining Operations: Supervise salt mining operations, ensuring safety and efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

Collaboration with Engineers: Work closely with engineering teams to develop salt extraction methods and efficient processing procedures.

Reserve Optimization: Analyze geological data to optimize salt reserves and provide recommendations to improve profitability.

Management of Permits and Regulations: Actively participate in managing permits and regulations related to salt mining, ensuring compliance.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria in addition to the experience mentioned above:

Degree in geology or a related field.

Demonstrated professional experience in salt geology, preferably in the petroleum industry, and experience in accompanying petroleum drilling.

Proficiency in geological modeling and mapping software.

Strong project management skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
