SAP ABAP Consultant

Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ABAP development and a solid understanding of various SAP modules. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality SAP solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements in SAP environments.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP programs and SAP applications.
• Participate in system upgrades and support testing activities.
• Document technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices in ABAP development.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in ABAP programming and development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI.
• Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) and ABAP Web Dynpro.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP HANA is a plus.
• Proficient in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.
• Knowledge of SAP enhancement frameworks, user exits, and BADIs.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
