As an SAP Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing SAP systems across various business functions. You will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP modules, and ensuring successful integration and performance of SAP solutions. This role requires a strong technical and functional background in SAP, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and end-users.
You will act as the link between business stakeholders, the IT department, and external vendors, ensuring SAP solutions are aligned with business needs and delivered efficiently.
Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
SAP Implementation & Configuration:
- Analyze business processes and identify areas for SAP system enhancements or automation.
- Configure relevant SAP module according to business requirements.
- Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of configured modules.
- Support data migration activities and ensure data integrity during transition phases.
User Support & Training:
- Provide day-to-day support to SAP end-users and address system issues or inquiries.
- Train users on SAP functionalities and best practices.
- Prepare and update user manuals and training materials.
- Act as a first point of contact for SAP-related questions from departments.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Document all system configurations, functional specifications, and business processes.
- Ensure that SAP operations comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with the internal audit and compliance teams for system validation.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with finance, procurement, HR, and other departments to gather requirements.
- Coordinate with external SAP consultants and vendors during implementations or upgrades.
- Provide input on system performance, user feedback, and improvement opportunities.
- Support integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, payroll, reporting tools).
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- +5 years of hands-on experience with SAP systems (specific modules can be listed as needed ).
- Experience in SAP implementation or support projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP reporting tools is a plus.
- Fluent in English is preferred.
