The Role

Accenture is seeking anSAP EWM Leadto drive the implementation of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)as part of a major SAP transformation program. This role involves gathering detailed business requirements, designing solutions, creating theBusiness Process Blueprint Document (BPD), and developing the deployment strategy, includingdata migration. The SAP EWM Lead will work closely withSCM business and IT stakeholders, guiding them on the design of their warehouse management structure and processes to operationalize their business. The role requiresonsite presencein Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for at least 6 weeks, with working days fromSunday to Thursday, both onsite and offshore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the process of gathering detailedbusiness requirements, designing solutions, and creating theBusiness Process Blueprint Document (BPD).
  • Develop and execute thedeployment strategy, includingdata migrationfor the implementation of SAP EWM.
  • Collaborate closely withSCM business and IT stakeholders, providing guidance on the design of warehouse management structures and processes.
  • Provide hands-on design and configuration expertise forEWM Mobile entry/RFUI scanning,goods receiving and issue processes,put-away and picking strategies,resource queue management,batch management, andphysical inventory count processes.
  • Offer functional knowledge ofSAP Inventory Managementand its integration with EWM.
  • Articulate physical/on-ground processes that correspond to specific transactions within the module, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Guide business stakeholders on the impact of design decisions, such as creating storage sections for fast-moving goods.
  • Drive the completion ofbusiness process design, prioritize requirements, and set realistic expectations with business stakeholders regarding cost/schedule feasibility and value-for-money considerations.
  • Mentor junior team members in configuring and deploying the EWM solution.
  • Collaborate effectively with offshore team members to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading at least4 end-to-end implementationsof SAP EWM, particularly inBlueprinting,Design, andData Preparation and Migrationphases.
  • Strong hands-on design and configuration expertise inSAP EWMprocesses, includingRFUI scanning,goods receiving/issue,put-away/picking strategies,resource queue management,batch management, andphysical inventory count.
  • Functional knowledge ofSAP Inventory Managementand its integration with EWM.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage SCM business stakeholders and articulate solutions effectively.
  • Ability to guide business stakeholders on design decisions and their operational impact.
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, with the ability to set realistic expectations and deliver value-for-money solutions.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and collaborating with offshore teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business); advanced degree or certifications (e.g., SAP EWM certifications) preferred.
