We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead endtoend project delivery for a complex SAP transformation initiative. This role requires deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations, strong project management capabilities, and excellent stakeholder leadership. The position is fully onsite and involves direct client engagement for a major pharmaceutical-sector program that includes both brownfield migration and selective greenfield implementations across multiple SAP functional areas.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the full lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Own delivery management for a comprehensive project comprising:
- Brownfield S/4HANA migration
- Greenfield implementation components including:
- Treasury Management
- Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
- Group Reporting
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Drive project governance, ensuring adherence to methodology, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership and key stakeholders.
- Manage expectations, influence decision-making, and communicate project progress through structured status reporting.
- Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, risk reviews, and milestone presentations.
- Build trusted relationships with crossfunctional teams, business process owners, and technical leads.
Team Leadership
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams including functional consultants, technical specialists, architects, and vendor resources.
- Provide direction, remove delivery obstacles, and ensure alignment to project goals.
- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, highperformance culture.
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
- Drive issue resolution, managing dependencies across workstreams.
- Oversee change management processes, including impact assessments and approvals.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure solution design, configuration, integration, and testing meet business and technical requirements.
- Validate deliverables across project phases and maintain documentation integrity.
- Uphold best practices and industry standards for SAP S/4HANA program delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA, ideally in large-scale transformation programs.
- Strong endtoend project management experience in an SAP environment, with a track record of successful delivery.
- Expertise in managing SAP HANA projects, including integration across modules and technical platforms.
- Prior experience working on brownfield migrations, especially within regulated industries such as pharma, is preferred.
- Familiarity with key SAP functional domains (Treasury, EWM, Group Reporting, SAC).
- Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with the capacity to navigate complex project landscapes.
- Ability to work onsite in a clientfacing role.
