  • ECC: OData services, BAPIs/RFCs, IDoc/ODP, CDS/views or table extracts.
  • Ariba: SLP/Buying/Sourcing APIs and events/webhooks.

  • Ensure proposed integration patterns meet SAP and client standards for performance, security, and change management.
  1. Support Azure Data Platform Integration
  • Work with the Azure data engineering team (ADF, ADLS, Databricks, APIs) to:

  • Map relevant SAP roles/authorization objects to Azure RBAC concepts so that:
  • Procurement, Logistics, Inventory, PR users and Enterprise users see correct data subsets.

  • Solid understanding of PR/PO/GRN/SES/Inventory/Payment flows and underlying SAP objects.
  • Ariba Experience
  • Practical experience with SAP Ariba SLP, Buying and Sourcing from an integration/API perspective.
  • Familiarity with Ariba data models for Supplier Master, RFQ/Sourcing projects, catalogue PRs, and NASL (or comparable supplier approval lists).
  • Integration & Architecture
  • Proven track record in defining SAP integration patterns for data platforms, reporting, or analytics.
  • Ability to design robust, performant extraction strategies acceptable to SAP Basis and security teams.
  • Experience working with non-SAP integration teams (e.g. Azure / data engineering) is a strong advantage.
  • Security & Authorizations
  • Good understanding of SAP authorizations/roles and how they map to dataset-level and field-level access.
  • Ability to translate business RBAC requirements into SAP-side and integration-side controls.
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills to interface with both business (SCP stakeholders) and technical teams (SAP Basis, data engineers, architects).
  • Comfortable leading/participating in workshops, documenting integration requirements, and validating designs.
