The Senior SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Technical Delivery & AMS Lead is responsible for end-to-end governance, operational stability, release management, and technical platform oversight of enterprise SAP Public Cloud environments.
This role ensures structured AMS execution across multi-country landscapes, drives SAP BTP platform administration, governs release upgrades (3SL), and acts as the key interface between AMS teams, SAP Preferred Success, and executive stakeholders.
The position requires a strong blend of technical depth, cloud governance expertise, and executive communication capabilities
Roles and responsibilities
1. SAP Cloud Governance & Delivery Leadership
- Facilitate recurring governance cadences
- Oversee DevOps ticket monitoring and escalation management.
- Drive cross-functional resolution of critical technical and techno-functional issues.
2. Release & Upgrade Management (S/4HANA Public Cloud 3SL)
- Lead half-yearly SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud release cycles.
- Conduct Release Assessment & Scope Dependency (RASD) evaluations.
- Present What's New sessions to functional and technical teams.
- Participate in SAP Preferred Success expert sessions.
- Ensure business continuity during release windows.
3. SAP BTP & Technical Platform Oversight
SAP OSS & Access Governance
- Manage SAP OSS portal activities.
- Maintain SAP S-User ID lifecycle and authorizations.
SAP BTP Administration
o CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
o MBC (Multi Bank Connectivity)
o DRC (Document & Reporting Compliance)
o BTP applications and databases
- Monitor CPI iFlows and integration health.
- Provide technical advisory and issue resolution support.
- Monitor and renew SAP certificates.
- Manage E-Token updates for SAP e-invoicing compliance.
4. IAM, Risk & Compliance Management
- Conduct IAM reviews during each release cycle.
- Support enterprise GRC audit activities.
- Maintain controls aligned with corporate standards.
- Ensure compliance across integration and authorization landscapes.
5. Change & Stability Management
- Govern technical change requests in 3SL landscape.
- Review transport and deployment planning.
- Coordinate cross-team incident resolution.
- Proactively identify platform risks and improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement in AMS service delivery maturity.
