We are supporting a pioneering space industry client in their search for a Satellite Manufacturing Test Engineer. This position will be central to testing and validating advanced satellite systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability before deployment. The role combines practical test execution with close collaboration across engineering teams to deliver flight-ready hardware.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and run test procedures based on system-level requirements.
  • Carry out functional, electrical, and end-to-end system testing on satellite subsystems and full spacecraft builds.
  • Set up and operate Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and related test facilities.
  • Investigate anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve issues across hardware, software, and integration setups.
  • Work closely with systems, electrical, and software engineers to ensure thorough coverage and robust test outcomes.
  • Keep precise records of activities, results, and troubleshooting steps to support traceability and compliance.
  • Contribute to improving test practices, automation, and processes over time.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in spacecraft testing, manufacturing, or electrical integration (satellite flight hardware background is essential).
  • Hands-on familiarity with test instrumentation, scripting (Python, MATLAB), and EGSE operations.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex test issues.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining high standards of documentation.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator within multi-disciplinary project teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automated testing and configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of verification and validation practices in a space hardware context.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the space industry in the UAE. If you have direct, hands-on experience with satellite flight hardware and want to contribute to next-generation spacecraft development, we would like to hear from you.
