Overview
Reporting into the Cross category Cluster Head, the Supply Planning lead is accountable for the cluster Supply Planing activities for a given category across 2 3 market units. Will be the 1st escalation contact in GCC for the RemainCo organization for a this category. The role is accountable for the cluster Supply Planning team in GCC.
This role is the main interface between the GCC Planning Hub and the Market for Supply Planning, and will collaborate with the RemainCo demand fulfilment manager to ensure market plans are adopted, KPIs are met and to resolve any BU escalations.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for production plans creation. Ensure delivery of an optimised cross-site manufacturing supply plan, that can be scheduled, to maintain the target stock holding of all SKU's (stock keeping unit) to deliver service to Business Units's
- Accountable to create constrained capacity production plans within the planning horizon and escalation whenever needed
- Accountable for the review of detailed line scheduling plans
- Highlight Risk, work on mitigation plans and escalate to RemainCo lead if required
- Accountable for inventory and business waste projections with the market.
- Accountable for effective & timely Master data management
- Accountable for New innovation pipeline management
- Lead his team through the different transition phases and ensures the success of every phase (during transition period)
- Lead the development and adoption of the WoW with RemainCo organization
- Responsible to prepare, contribute and execute Supply Review for Platform/Hub as part of the weekly Sales &Operating Execution (IS&OP) and monthly Sales & Operating Plan (S&OP) cycle and SMR (Supply Monthly Review)
- Manage GCC Supply Planning, Innovation Coordinators & MDM Team for the Category (8 - 10 Direct reports)
- Monitor key service metrics and worst performers with Planning Lead and directors.
- Analyse root-causes for worst performers and support on the definition of action plans
- First level of escalation on crisis support the GCC planners on resolution and propose action plans to be aligned with sector/market
- First point of contact for RemainCo demand fulfillment manager on issue resolution and escalation management
- Integration point between Market and GCC represents GCC at strategic meetings with the market
- Responsible for adopting the current systems and leads the Run to Standard agenda and compliance targets for Supply Planning area
Qualifications
- Engineering (preferred)
- 5-7 years of experience
- Experienced in Supply Planning
- Strong Line management experience (8 - 10 direct reports)
- High level of knowledge & understanding of the E2E supply systems & processes
- Proficiency in product category planning
- Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work with other functions / departments to address critical challenges as a result of market change or changes in technical, manufacturing or End to end planning processes.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs.
- Understanding the links between production plans, plant AOP's, productivity initiatives and customer service
- Proficiency in Excel
