Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Scaffolding Engineer based in Cairo, Egypt. The Scaffolding Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and ensuring the safe assembly and dismantling of scaffolding in compliance with standards and guidelines. The role includes evaluating work-at-height requirements, conducting risk assessments for confined spaces, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols, such as fall protection measures. Coordinating with project teams, supervising scaffold installation, and ensuring quality and safety are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Scaffolding design, installation, and maintenance
• Experience with safety practices, including Working at Height, Fall Protection, and Confined Space protocols
• CSCS certification or equivalent safety qualification is required
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct risk assessments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and ensure project compliance
• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field is preferred
• Experience in large-scale construction projects is an advantage
