Job Title: Scaffolding Inspector

Role Overview:
We are seeking a certified and experienced Scaffolding Inspector to inspect, certify, and monitor all scaffolding structures on site to ensure compliance with safety regulations, approved designs, and company HSE standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining workplace safety, preventing accidents, and ensuring that all scaffolding installations meet OSHA and local safety requirements across construction project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Scaffolding Inspection & Certification
- Inspect scaffolds before initial use and at regular intervals thereafter.
- Verify scaffolding erection complies with approved drawings and safety standards.
- Ensure proper scaffold tagging system (Green/Yellow/Red Tag) is implemented.
- Maintain scaffold inspection registers and certification records.
Safety Compliance & Monitoring
- Identify and report defective or unsafe scaffolding conditions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable local scaffolding regulations.
- Participate in incident investigations related to scaffolding activities.
- Coordinate with scaffold supervisors and contractors for corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Safety/Scaffolding; HSE certification will be an advantage.
- Certified Scaffolding Inspector (TUV or equivalent).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Minimum 7 years of scaffolding inspection experience in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA/EN/local scaffolding safety standards.
