Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Scientific Researcher with expertise in biochemistry to join our team at the NRC. Based on-site in Giza, this role involves designing and conducting laboratory experiments, performing advanced biochemical analyses, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address pressing scientific challenges. Responsibilities include documenting research findings, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to national and international collaborative projects, and mentoring junior researchers.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Laboratory Skills, including experimental design, sample analysis, and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of Microbiology and Biochemistry with experience in relevant techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Ecology and Wildlife research, with an ability to integrate findings into biome studies.
- Strong Research capabilities including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- PhD in Biochemistry or a related field.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for publishing and presenting research findings.
- Proficiency in working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in health, environmental, or agricultural research settings is a plus.
