Scrum Master

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Scrum Master with strong Agile delivery experience to lead cross-functional teams in delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching Agile teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving continuous improvement in complex enterprise environments.

Experience working on cloud transformation, application modernization, or large-scale Agile programs within Banking or Financial Services will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Foster a collaborative, transparent, and psychologically safe team environment.
• Remove impediments and proactively resolve delivery risks and blockers.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog.
• Track sprint progress, team velocity, burndown, and delivery metrics using Azure DevOps Boards.
• Communicate sprint progress, risks, and dependencies effectively with business stakeholders.
• Drive Agile maturity across teams by introducing best practices and facilitating process improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of business objectives.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage strong collaboration across distributed teams.
• Support release planning, dependency management, and PI Planning activities where applicable.
• Promote customer-centric delivery while ensuring high-quality product outcomes.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Boards for sprint planning, backlog management, dashboards, and reporting.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for multiple Scrum teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience tracking Agile metrics including velocity, burndown charts, sprint health, and team performance.
• Proven ability to remove impediments and improve team productivity.
• Experience working with distributed Agile teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on cloud migration, digital transformation, or application modernization programs.
• Exposure to Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets domain.
• Experience working in SAFe Agile environments.
• Knowledge of Agile estimation techniques and release planning.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or similar Agile reporting tools.

Certifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
• SAFe Scrum Master or other SAFe certification is an added advantage
