We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to join a well-known Islamic Bank. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Owners, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-value products effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Closely Engage with the Product Owner Support in backlog management, refinement, and release planning ensuring the business value.
- Facilitate and Support effective scrum events including Sprint planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective and Daily Scrum meetings
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile Scrum best practices and trends, and Guide team towards the principle of self-organization
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters/Project Managers, internal and external stakeholders to ensure cross-functional dependencies are identified and managed effectively
- Work Proactively with the team to Remove impediments and issues, Resolve conflicts, and protect the team from distractions.
- Help teams implement changes effectively and up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
- Ensure progress transparency and provide regular and open communication across the team and stakeholders.
- Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
- Help in building a productive environment where team members own the product and enjoy working on it.
Qualification:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field
- 3+ Experience in a scrum master role.
- Familiarity with software development.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar tools
- General Influential, Collaborative, Observant, Knowledgeable, Transparent, team Enabling skills.
Additional Skills (Optional but Beneficial):
- Scrum master certification. (either: Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org)
