Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master with extensive experience in Agile delivery for mobile banking applications to join a leading financial institution in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience facilitating Agile teams in the banking sector, specifically focused on delivering high-impact mobile banking solutions. Proficiency in Arabic and prior experience working in the Saudi market are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Agile Leadership: Lead Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure teams follow Agile best practices, delivering robust and user-friendly mobile banking applications.
- Mobile Application Delivery: Oversee the development and enhancement of mobile banking solutions, ensuring they meet customer needs and comply with banking industry standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and IT teams to align the product backlog with banking priorities, compliance standards, security requirements, and mobile application user experience (UX) principles.
- Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve blockers hindering team performance and delivery timelines, ensuring continuous, smooth progress on critical mobile banking features and functionalities.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance metrics, such as sprint velocity, quality of delivery, and team efficiency, to drive continuous improvement and ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile banking products.
- Banking and Mobile App Expertise: Ensure Agile delivery aligns with banking regulations, compliance standards, and security requirements that are specific to mobile applications in the banking sector.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong background in Agile delivery for mobile banking applications or mobile-first solutions.
- Deep experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector, particularly with mobile banking platforms, digital payments, and mobile application security.
- Proven track record of facilitating Agile teams that deliver mobile banking applications in a complex, regulated environment.
- Proficiency in Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.) and familiarity with the SDLC in mobile app development.
- Arabic language proficiency and experience working in the Saudi Arabian market or GCC region is preferred.

- Strong leadership and facilitation skills with the ability to guide mobile-focused teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to drive Agile adoption and continuous improvement while ensuring the integrity of the banking solution's compliance, security, and UX standards.
