Urgent requirement for a Security Architect to be based in Abu Dhabi on a 1 year contract for a major IT vendor.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement security controls for cloud-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and techniques.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, including NIST 800-53, HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks in cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures, including incident response and disaster recovery plans.
Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in cloud security, and provide recommendations to enhance the security posture of the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and standards, including VMware vSphere and vCloud stack, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Ansible.
Experience conducting security assessments and audits, and implementing security controls in cloud environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
