Job Description

Role Objective:

Responsible for ensuring the security of QNCC's facilities, employees, and assets. Oversee the team of

security guards and gatekeepers, establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures in line with

QNCC's guidelines and legal requirements. The incumbent will handle day-to-day security operations, liaise

with local law enforcement and other relevant authorities as necessary, and coordinate with the Head of

HSSE on initiatives to enhance security across the organization.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities

OPERATIONAL

Oversee the day-to-day security operations within QNCC's premises, including the cement and sand washing plants, and the housing estate.

Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety and security of company assets, employees, and facilities.

Coordinate with the Head of HSSE in formulating and implementing comprehensive security strategies.

Conduct regular security audits and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and other relevant authorities as necessary, maintaining a strong professional relationship to ensure timely response and assistance when needed.

Manage access control systems and visitor management procedures to prevent unauthorized entry.

Investigate and promptly report any security breaches, incidents, or suspicious activities to the Head

of HSSE and take necessary actions as per the established protocol.

Monitor the implementation of security equipment such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems, ensuring they are fully operational and effectively deployed.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

Supervise, guide, and coordinate the work of the security guards and gatekeepers to ensure effective security coverage across all QNCC's facilities.

Conduct regular performance reviews of the security team, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement plans as necessary.

Recommend and organize relevant training programs for the security team to enhance their skills and knowledge in security management.

Foster a culture of safety and security within the team, encouraging vigilance and proactive reporting of potential security concerns.

Resolve any conflicts or issues within the security team promptly and effectively, ensuring a harmonious work environment.

Maintain a high standard of team discipline and adherence to QNCC's policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

Engineering Diploma or Nursing Degree/Diploma

NEBOSH Level 3 (or equivalent)

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Manufacturing industry experience preferred

Valid driving license preferred

ISO-certified Internal Auditor qualification
